Our therapy journey together
Being part of my practice means you have a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. All our therapy sessions are held online for your convenience and accessibility.
All it takes is a few simple steps to get started.

01.
Getting to know you
In our first meeting, we’ll discuss your history, challenges, and goals. For legal professionals, we’ll review the specifics of your case and what you need from the evaluation.
02.
Building a connection
I’ll gather thorough background information to tailor our approach. This helps to create a roadmap for your therapy to make sure it’s as effective as possible.
03.
Ongoing therapy
Therapy is a partnership. We’ll work together, with your active participation and feedback shaping the direction of our sessions, so you can get the most out of them.
FAQs
Have questions about my psychotherapy services? If you don’t see the answer to your question below, please feel free to get in touch with me.
What can I expect during the first session?
In our first session, we’ll chat about your background, why you are seeking therapy, and what you hope to achieve. It’s a time for us to get to know each other, and for you to share what’s been going on in your life. I’ll ask about your history, from childhood to now, to get a full picture. Don’t worry, it’s all about building a safe and comfortable space for you.
How often should I attend therapy sessions?
Most clients find that weekly sessions work best, especially in the beginning. It helps us build momentum and make steady progress. As you start feeling better, we might move to every other week or less often. We’ll figure out the best schedule for you as we go.
Do you offer online therapy sessions?
Yes, I do! All our therapy sessions are held online. This makes it convenient for you to join from anywhere, whether you are at home or somewhere else that’s comfortable for you. It’s all about making therapy accessible and fitting it into your busy life.
What therapy approaches do you use?
I use an eclectic mix of approaches, meaning I tailor the therapy to fit your needs. This includes humanistic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), psychodynamic, and trauma-informed methods. It really depends on what you are dealing with and what works best for you.
How long will therapy take?
Therapy is different for everyone. Some people feel better in a few months, while others might take longer. We’ll regularly check in on your progress and adjust as needed. My goal is to help you build the tools and resilience to thrive independently, not keep you in therapy forever.
Can you help with severe mental health issues?
I specialize in low-risk clinical referrals, but I do work with conditions like mild bipolar disorder and certain psychotic disorders. If you are dealing with high-risk issues like severe suicidality, we might need to look at other options for your safety. We can discuss this in detail during our initial session.
What if my issue isn’t listed?
Feel free to reach out anyway. Even if your specific issue isn’t listed, we can discuss your unique situation and see how I can best support you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I’m here to help you navigate whatever you are facing.
Ready to begin your healing journey?
Taking the first step is often the hardest, but it’s also the most important. Reach out today, and let’s start this journey together.
